Uproar during the fest at IP College

On Tuesday, there was a lot of ruckus in Delhi University’s IP College regarding the entry during the fest. A crowd of students suddenly gathered at the college gate and tried to enter. In the scuffle, many students got injured by pressing under each other. When the matter escalated, the college administration informed the police about the matter.
The police who reached the spot strictly controlled the crowd. The injured students were taken to a nearby hospital. The girl students alleged that some students entered the college by scaling the wall. Many videos of the house went viral on social media. Taking action in the matter, the police have registered a case of injury due to violation of the government order and negligence.
At present, seven people have been detained in the case. Civil Lines police station is investigating the matter with the help of video besides CCTV cameras. Police officers say that statements of girl students and organizers are being taken. After investigation, further action will be taken on the basis of facts.
According to the police, a fest named ‘Shruti’ was being organized at IP College on Tuesday. In it, an artist named Asees Kaur had to give her presentation. The program was to be organized between 10 am and 8 pm. There was also a huge crowd in the college. Meanwhile, at around 3.00 pm suddenly a crowd of students gathered at the gate.
There was a lot of pushing and shoving to get inside. Many students fell in it and got injured. At the same time, information was also received about some students entering by scaling the wall. After getting the news, the police reached the spot and controlled the situation. Seven people who created ruckus by sending the injured students to the hospital were detained.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police says that the accident happened due to overcrowding. The case is being investigated. At present, seven people have been detained. After investigation, further action will be taken on the basis of facts.

Some girls have been molested in the fest of Delhi University’s IP College. Incidents of eve-teasing have come to the fore in college fests in the past as well. Such idiots should be put in jail. I am issuing notice to Delhi Police for strict action.
